Use Proper Surface Protection

The structures are provided with a tubular rubber damper to keep the steel of the structure off the contact surface,  add more cushioning as needed.

No Partial Assembly

To prevent serious injury please do not leave the structures partially assembled.

Ensure Pins Are Locked

When assembling each section of the product, check to see all pins are locked in so the product does not come apart under stress.

Avoid Damaged Parts

  • Routine Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt. Spray with a solution of water and mild soap (like Dawn).
  • Deep Cleaning: For stubborn spots, use a soft cloth. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the specialized coating.
  • Drying: Always allow the fabric to air dry completely before packing it away. Storing a damp shade can lead to mildew.

Please read the following carefully

Vehicle & Surface Disclaimer

Important: The Hovershade™ structure is designed to be versatile, but users must exercise common sense regarding the surfaces upon which it is placed.

  • Surface Integrity: Before setup, ensure the vehicle roof or mounting surface is structurally sound. A good rule of thumb: If an average person cannot safely stand on the surface without causing a dent or damage, it is not suitable for the Hovershade™ structure. Each structure weighs about 32 lbs., distributed through out the length of the bars. Do not excessively ratchet down the units, a firm hold will usually keep the structure from moving.

Liability:

  • Hovershade™ is not responsible for any damage to vehicles, including but not limited to scratches, dings, bent metal, or cracked fiberglass resulting from improper placement or weight distribution.

  • Surface Protection: To prevent cosmetic scratches or abrasions, we highly recommend using additional dampening materials (such as rubber mats, foam padding, or microfiber buffers) between the structure bars and your vehicle's surface.

  • Wind & Weather: Always secure the unit properly. Damage caused by the structure shifting due to wind or unstable mounting is the sole responsibility of the user.

This product is the shading structure and does not include any shading fabric. There are recommendations made for the type of fabric that should be used.  Some fabrics are heavier than others and based on the length and the weight of the shaded area required, the amount of stress that is created on the structure will greatly vary.  You should always use caution and make sure that you take note and observe the condition of the structure while setting up the shade.
