HoverShade™ Care Instructions
Severe Weather Warning
Heavy wet snow or strong winds could cause damage or sudden collapse. Pull back the shade cover as instructed, bunch up and tie a rope around it.
Check Tie-Down Security
Inspect all tie downs' and lightly pull on the ropes to make sure Hovershade™ structure Is secure and no movement is observed, before installing or pulling up the shade fabric
Regular Inspection & Maintenance
Inspect regularly, Tighten all loose hardware and loose cords. If any parts are damaged, bent, or stretched, they must be replaced. Hardware, straps, and ropes May loosen during normal operation stresses. Loose hardware or damage/altered parts will compromise the structural integrity of this product.
Do Not Overtighten
Slight bending of the steel structure may occur when tightening and strapping down. This is normal but do not overtighten as to not damage the surface of the vehicle.
Use Proper Surface Protection
The structures are provided with a tubular rubber damper to keep the steel of the structure off the contact surface, add more cushioning as needed.
No Partial Assembly
To prevent serious injury please do not leave the structures partially assembled.
Ensure Pins Are Locked
When assembling each section of the product, check to see all pins are locked in so the product does not come apart under stress.
Avoid Damaged Parts
Do not use a damaged product or parts. Look for cracks or unusual bending of the steel if any.
Inspect Structure Regularly
Regularly inspect the general condition of the structures when installed. Check for loose ratchet tie downs or if the structures have moved or pivoted from the original positions set. Check the integrity of the ropes and shade fabric, replace as required.

If you ever need to replace a tie-down, rubber sleeve, rope, or pin, compatible parts can be found at most local hardware stores for immediate, on-the-go maintenance.
Roof Access Warning
If you're using this products to cover your RV, motorhome, trailer you may need to have access to your roof and you will have to climb onto your roof to set this structure. Please be aware that this could be hazardous and if you're not comfortable doing so this product may not be for you. We expressly assume no liability for any bodily harm caused by this action.
Fabric Care & Cleaning
To maintain the UV protection and water-resistance of your fabric, follow these simple steps:
- Routine Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt. Spray with a solution of water and mild soap (like Dawn).
- Deep Cleaning: For stubborn spots, use a soft cloth. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the specialized coating.
- Drying: Always allow the fabric to air dry completely before packing it away. Storing a damp shade can lead to mildew.
