- For RVs pull the 3-4 lines with you up to the roof
- Pull and Place the frames on roof of the RV or Vehicle(s)
- Secure to one side, Drape the lines over the other side of the frame hooks to the ground.
- Anchor the structures with provided straps
- Connect the shade to the Lines on the ground
- while on the ground,Hoist and pull up the shade on one or both sides of the vehicle and tie them down.
- Adjust (open or close) shade as desired

Yes! The structure is modular and breaks down into 3-to-4-foot sections, allowing it to fit easily in the trunk or back seat of a standard passenger vehicle.

Hovershade™ is highly versatile and works with most RVs, trailers, 5th wheels, and even standard cars, trucks or SUVs with solid roofs or surfaces, used as anchors. You can also bridge between two or more parallel cars to create a shaded "breezeway" over and between them.

No complex tools are required. The system uses a specialized ratchet-down fastening method to secure the metal structures and a roping system to deploy the fabric.You may need a Long pole to connect the ropes to the structure for Taller Vehicles like Rvs and 5th wheels if you plan to setup from the ground after placing the structures on the vehicle

NO ! Our patent-pending modular design is engineered specifically for solo operation. Depending on the size of the area to be shaded You can have your shade oasis ready quickly. Break down is even faster. For large motorhomes you will need to climb on to the roof just to place the frames, for smaller RVs or vehicle you can easily lift and place the frames. The shade is pulled up to the roof from the ground and quickly falls down when released.

We believe your shade oasis should be tailored to you. Because vehicles and individual shade preferences vary drastically, our system is sold as a standalone frame. This allows you to customize your setup with the exact size and style of fabric you need without paying for a one-size-fits-all solution. Our system is designed to work with any style of shade cloth. Our clients buy the fabric in different sizes and colors and zip-tie them together to get the exact dimensions. Shade fabric is generally inexpensive and finding the right shade fabric is very easy:

Each main metal structure weighs approximately 32 lbs. While they are sturdy enough to support a large shade area, they are light enough to be carried to the roof of an RV by one person. see video instructions

The system is designed to fasten firmly to stable points on the vehicle (like roof racks or structural frames) to ensure a secure fit without compromising the vehicle's integrity. Common scene must be used as not to cause any damage. Check the condition of the surface before installing. Never set the structures on Glass (moonroof etc). Foam padding is included in the package but you can always place extra padding, or cover the intended surface with other types of protection.
Operation
Do I have to stay on the roof to set up the shade?
No. Roof access is only required for the initial placement and securing of the Hovershade™ metal structures and attaching the ropes. Once they are ratcheted down, the shade fabric is hoisted and deployed using our integrated roping system from the safety of the ground.
Pro-Tip: We recommend using a long reach retractable pole to easily adjust lines or clear minor snags without having to climb back up.

How to Setup Your Hovershade™ Frame on any vehicle (Step-by-Step)
Setting up your Hovershade™ is a straightforward process designed for solo or assisted operation. Follow these steps to transform your vehicle into a shaded oasis:
- Assemble & Prep: Build the modular metal structures from the smaller parts. Connect the loose lines and ratchet straps to each frame.
- Position the Frames: * For Large RVs: Place the frames vertically on the ground next to the side of the vehicle where they will sit on the roof.For Smaller Vehicles: Simply lift and place the frames directly onto the roof.
- Placement: Position the two structures facing each other at the front and back of the vehicle roof. Ensure the bars overhang each side and that the protective padding is securely placed on the edges of the overhang.
- Rig the Lines: Connect the pre-arranged lines to the hooks on the front frame. Pull the lines across to the rear frame, draping them over the hooks so they hang down to the ground. These center lines will be used to hoist your shade fabric.
- Secure the Structure: Climb down and use the heavy-duty ratchet system to strap the structures to the vehicle. Tension the lines moderately and ensure the frames are immobile.
- Deploy the Shade: Attach your shade fabric to the ground-level lines. Pull the lines to hoist the fabric into place. Secure the lines to the vehicle to lock the shade in height.
- Final Adjustments: Test the "curtain-style" movement by sliding the shade from side to side. Once positioned, anchor the pull-lines to the vehicle to prevent the shade from shifting or opening unexpectedly.
Pro-Tip: While each structure weighs approximately 32 lbs and is manageable for one person, having a second person assist with lifting frames onto Class B or C RVs can make the process even faster.

The Frame system is placed and secured to the vehicle itself and uses a flexible roping and fabric method, it adapts naturally to the height of the vehicles used. Whether you are bridging two low-profile cars or a tall RV, the tension system ensures the shade remains taut.

Yes. The modular pieces can be configured to stretch up to 18 feet, allowing you to customize the width based on your vehicle size or the distance between two parked vehicles. For a large 8 foot wide Rv, the overhang can be even or uneven 5 foot on each side. TheVertical bars (Mast) can also shift from one side to the other to adjust the center line (holding the top of the shade) relative to the vehicle anchor and the frame can be placed off center also.

We offer free shipping and To ensure the safest transit, your system is delivered in two separate, specialized 45 lb parcels (90 lbs total). While they ship together, carriers may occasionally deliver them a day apart. You will receive tracking numbers for both boxes.

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Because of the size and weight of the Hovershade™ system, customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
