We are a American Based company and family of passionate RV owners who truly love the lifestyle. Over the years, we have traveled across the country, spending countless hours on the road and and truly enjoying our time in our motorhome. Our manufacturing and warehouse operations are based in Southern CA. We also have an office in northern CA.
Like many RV enthusiasts, we have faced our fair share of mechanical issues on the road, but our biggest frustration always came down to two thing: the Heat and our awning shade coverage.
The Problem: Broken Awnings and Unbearable Heat
During one of our trips, our traditional electrical awning broke while fully extended. We couldn't move the rig, and it took a long time to diagnose the problem, find a repair service, and pay an extremely expensive repair bill. We were also noticing that the shade material on our side awning, and the exposed fabric over our slide outs were gradually deteriorating in the sun.
Beyond the mechanical liabilities, traditional awnings simply weren't doing enough to keep us cool. In hot climates, our air conditioning ran tirelessly but still couldn't cool the motorhome. We realized that to truly beat the heat, we needed to block the sun from hitting the roof, sidewalls, and windows entirely.
Engineering a Better Solution
We asked ourselves: What if we could completely cover our entire 40 foot motorhome like a RV CarPort when parked for a few days, while still living inside comfortably?
After extensive brainstorming and testing how radiant heat affects an RV, we developed a modular frame system. We needed a solution that checked every box:
- Quick to Deploy: Easy to set up, manage, and take down quickly when parked and ready to move
- Wind and weather conditions: with a Massive shade we needed a quick way to withdraw the shade (curtain system) without dismantling the frames
- Compact: Designed to break down easily and fit perfectly within standard RV storage compartments.
- Lightweight yet Strong: Engineered to be incredibly durable without adding unnecessary weight to the rig.
- Compatible with any shade fabric type, since we are not fabric manufacturers.
Safety First: Ground-Level Deployment
Because our canopy system is portable and only temporarily attached to the motorhome, deployment safety was a top priority. We engineered a setup process that minimizes roof time. You only need to safely pull and place the lightweight frames onto the roof—everything else, including hoisting the shade fabric and securing the frames to the vehicle, is safely managed directly from the ground.
After testing and perfecting the structural lines on our own motorhome—and our friends' rigs—we knew we had created something special. That is how our story began, and we are thrilled to manufacture a product that helps everyone enjoy the outdoors, their RVs comfortably and safely in a much more cooler setting.

We’ve all been there: a beautiful campsite, a perfect view, and a summer sun so intense it turns your RV or camping area into an oven. Available vehicle Awnings and roof shade canopies have major limitations on keeping your area or entire vehicle cool based on their size and functionality.
CarPorts are Rigid, fixed structures and constructed with tools, concrete and steel beams and are very expensive. Traditional roll-out awnings are a major liability. If a single component breaks, a piston fails, or the fabric deteriorates, we are often looking at repair costs ranging from hundreds to several thousand dollars—and that’s before factoring in professional installation. Worse yet, a malfunctioning awning that refuses to retract can leave us stranded at a campsite.

We set out to engineer a portable CarPort shade canopy that goes anywhere. Our heavy-duty, simplified frame is designed to withstand harsh environments, last for years, and be set up or dismantled with ease.
Unlike traditional Expensive fixed in place CarPorts, awnings or standard pop-up canopies that lock you into a few low-quality fabric choices, we took a different approach. Because there are thousands of colors, shapes, and UV-rated fabrics available on the market today, we designed the Hovershade™ to be universally compatible. By putting the fabric choice in your hands, you can select the exact style, size, and density that matches your specific environment and aesthetic.
The result is a modular RV CarPort canopy Framing system that delivers massive coverage and cooling results that existing portable structures simply cannot match.
