How it works

General instructions, Detailed instructions will be provided with your purchase. Since our frame system is novel for most people, it may look complicate to set up, but once you understand the methodology, and after the initial shade and lines measurements it is quick to install and disassemble.

  • Assemble the Hovershade Canopy Frame structures
  • Measure shade area
  • Choose and purchase the Shade material of your choice
  • Measure and Preset the lines for the shade Area
  • Place the frame structures on roof of Vehicle(s)
  • Take the mast lines, tie to one mast, drape over the other and onto the ground
  • If you needed to climb on to the roof (large Vehicles), climb down.
  • Anchor the structures to the Vehicle with the provided straps
  • Connect the shade to the Lines from the ground ( this is generally done on first setup)
  • Hoist the shade and secure!
  • Adjust (open or close) shade as needed
  • To disassemble: Untie the shade lines (shade will fall to the ground), Release the tiedowns, Remove the Frames(no tools required), Pack up and store in trunk of vehicle.
